For the past few years, I have been a proud member of the cupcake club. The idea of someone eating a cupcake as opposed to something more substantial just doesn’t seem as appealing anymore. So, I set out to make a few recipes out of the ordinary, and even made a few of my own.
I think it’s pretty cool that I’m a cupcake lover anyway. In fact, I’ve even been making cupcakes myself at my leisure. I find the cupcake world pretty special because I’ve been eating cupcakes in the past, so I’m going to try and make them up for my next birthday.
I think cupcakes are the perfect way to get kids excited about the holidays. Plus, they’re just like birthday party food, and that’s probably the most important reason I’m in love with a cupcake.
Yes, cupcakes. The holidays are the perfect excuse to stuff giant chocolate and marshmallow sized birthday cake balls in a mini muffin. When I was a kid, my sister would make me my first birthday cake when I was seven years old. I can’t believe how easy it was to get a cake off of my mom’s counter. It was like a cake. She also made me my first cupcake when I was four years old. Like a cupcake.
Cupcakes are just as much fun when you’re just in your twenties and don’t live with your parents. The best part about them is that they’re super easy to make and you can make them to your heart’s content. I can’t say that I miss my childhood because of cupcakes. In fact, I think cupcakes are one of my favorite things to eat.
People have been cooking up cupcakes with their kids for years now. I have a three-year-old son and, like any parent, I love cooking with him. But, for him, it was much easier to make a cupcake than it was to cook for myself. When I started my career, I had to cook for myself most of the time, but I quickly realized that making a meal for yourself is much more fun than cooking yourself dinner every night.
Not to mention that I got to eat all of these delicious cupcake recipes. I just made them for my husband and I. He loved them, too, so he ate more than his share, which is almost always more than his wife does. I feel like I’m in a whole new world now.
Cupcakes are a really easy way to get friends and family to bake for you. They are super easy to make and super tasty, so you can always get more for your money. Plus they really are just super tasty, so the whole group will end up in heaven.
I love cupcakes, but I have to admit that I love “adult” cupcakes just as much. Seriously, they’re like little birthday cakes for grown ups. And these cupcakes are about as adult as you can get.
